Prestige/Barkley photographic design uses a unique blend of superior photographic technique, creativity and a special rapport with our clients to give each wedding its own unique look. A combination of techniques are used to achieve this goal:

True photojournalism. This style involves capturing the spontaneous moments which occur throughout the wedding day. . . the bridesmaids laughing as they share a toast before leaving the house for the ceremony. . . the joy on the Bride's face as she greets an old friend during the receiving line. . . Mom's face alight with emotion as she watches her daughter and husband dance at the reception.

Portraiture. Unique and contemporary posing techniques, normally reserved for fine portraiture are used to create beautiful images of family and bridal party. We prefer to avoid old-fashioned line-ups!

"Photonaturalism". Gently posed and decidedly natural looking, the concept behind these images may be as simple as the Bride and Groom holding hands and strolling through a field or down a deserted beach.

We are highly sensitive to your individual needs and requirements. Are you and your fiance especially interested in beautiful, romantic, naturally posed photographs of the two of you or are you more focused on photojournalism? We take a great deal of time and care to determine the type of photographs that will make you happy, now and anniversaries from now.
